About CalcSuite
CalcSuite is a collection of free online calculators built to answer real financial, tax, health and everyday questions quickly and accurately. Whether you are working out a loan payment, deciding if refinancing is worth it, estimating your take-home pay, or planning your macros, our goal is to give you a clear answer in seconds.
CalcSuite is the name of our calculator suite; it lives online at calcember.com. If you have reached this page from a share card, a search result or an embedded widget, both names refer to the same site.
Our principles
Privacy first. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. We never see, send or store the values you enter.
Free and open. There is no sign-up, no paywall and no limit on how often you use any tool. The site is supported by advertising so the tools can stay free.
Accurate and transparent. Where a calculation relies on a formula, we show it. Where results are estimates, we say so clearly.
A note on accuracy
Our calculators are designed for general informational use. Financial and tax rules change and vary by individual circumstance, so please treat results as estimates and confirm important decisions with a qualified professional.
How we build and review our calculators
Every calculator is built on a published, verifiable formula or an official dataset — never a guessed number. Tax tools use the current-year federal, state, provincial and national brackets published by the relevant tax authorities (for example the IRS in the United States and the CRA in Canada); finance tools use the standard amortization, compound-interest and time-value-of-money formulas; health tools use peer-reviewed equations such as Mifflin-St Jeor for metabolic rate.
When brackets or contribution limits are updated for a new tax year, we refresh the underlying data and re-check the calculation against the official source before publishing. Each finance, tax and health calculator that depends on a dataset shows a data-source and last-updated note so you can see exactly where the numbers come from and how current they are.
We do not collect the values you type, and we do not tailor results to sell you a product. Where a page links to a partner, it is clearly marked and never changes the calculated result.
Who reviews our calculators
CalcSuite is built and maintained by the CalcSuite editorial team — a small group of finance-literate engineers and writers who specialise in turning official tax, finance and health data into tools anyone can use. Every tax and finance calculator is checked against its primary source before it goes live, and again whenever a new tax year, contribution limit or wage base is published.
Tax & payroll methodology reviewer
Yafeili builds and maintains CalcSuite's US tax and paycheck engines. Before each tax year is published, every federal bracket, standard-deduction amount, FICA wage base and state rate is checked line-by-line against the primary IRS, SSA and state revenue-department releases, and the calculator output is reconciled against worked examples so the numbers on the page match the source documents.
- Reconciles federal brackets & standard deduction against the annual IRS Revenue Procedure
- Verifies the Social Security wage base and Medicare thresholds against SSA/IRS releases
- Cross-checks each state's income-tax schedule against its revenue department
- Re-runs worked examples every tax year before the figures go live
Our review process for any data-driven calculator:
- Source verification. We locate the primary authority — for example an IRS Revenue Procedure, an SSA wage-base announcement, or a state revenue department schedule — and record the exact figures, never an estimate or a second-hand copy.
- Implementation. Each figure is entered into a single shared calculation engine so that our SEO landing pages and interactive tools always agree. We do not maintain duplicate, drifting copies of the same numbers.
- Cross-check. Results are spot-checked against the tax authority's own worked examples and independent calculators before publishing.
- Annual refresh. When brackets or limits change, we update the underlying dataset, re-run the checks, and stamp each affected page with the tax year and review date.
Spotted a figure that looks wrong? We take corrections seriously — please tell us and we'll verify it against the source.
